Contemplative Listening as Spiritual Direction

Spiritual Director

Adam Lyons

A graduate of Princeton Theological Seminary, I have seen the power and potential of deep listening: spiritual direction being the perfect form for that listening to take place. I currently live with 22 high school students at the Milton Hershey School, a boarding school for low-income students. I would love to get to know you and determine if we would be a good fit for direction!

Benefits of Spiritual Direction

Companionship on the journey of life.

Affirming Space

The time is yours: time to speak, share, be silent, laugh, cry, pray, or rage, but you will always be mindfully affirmed and supported wherever you are on your journey.

Discernment

Life is full of questions and diverging paths. Dedicated time to identify your thoughts, feelings, sense of self, joys, and struggles provides clarity and intentionality in pursuing life’s next steps.

Mindfulness

Direction is about listening to oneself, to others, and to the divine, throughout the mundanity of day to day living. The art of paying attention is learned, practiced, and refined in every session.

Work With Me

The first session is always free, as we explore direction and the process of working together. Contact me to learn more – I am always happy to talk about spiritual direction and how it may serve you wherever you find yourself today.
